What Is an AI Botox Simulator?

Aesthetic clinics are being offered a lot of AI tools. This is what a Botox simulator actually is, and what it is reasonable to expect from one.

A consultation tool, not a diagnostic one

An AI Botox simulator edits a photo. It takes the client's own image, applies a visual change to the areas selected, and returns an illustration. It has no access to muscle strength, prior treatments or how a specific person metabolises a product, so it belongs in the conversation stage, next to your explanation, rather than presented as a forecast.

Stock before and after galleries ask people to imagine themselves in somebody else's face. Working from the client's own photo removes that leap, and it is also why identity preservation is the most important technical requirement: if the output does not look like the same person, the visualization is worthless.

Where the boundaries are

Never let a simulator promise. Phrases like "see exactly how you will look" invite complaints and undermine trust. "Explore a potential result" says the same thing without over-claiming, and pairing every image with a visible note that it is an AI-generated illustration keeps expectations where they belong.

Every image is an AI-generated visualization for illustrative purposes only. It is not a medical prediction, and actual treatment results may vary between individuals.
